About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class B Box Truck Drivers for local delivery operations based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position offers competitive hourly pay, a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule, and home daily. Drivers will deliver paper and cleaning products to local customers using box trucks, with light freight handling required.

Pay & Schedule

• $24.00 per hour
• Estimated weekly gross of $1,000
• Overtime after 40 hours
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM start

Job Details

• Equipment: CDL Class B box trucks
• Freight: Paper and cleaning products
• Handling: Light-touch freight using manual and electric pallet jacks; offload using a hand truck
• Delivery area: GA (Rome, Athens, Pikeville, and Dayton) and Monteagle, TN - between 15 and 20 stops per day

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a CDL Class B box truck on assigned local delivery routes.
• Deliver paper and cleaning products to customer locations.
• Unload freight using pallet jacks and dollies as needed.
• Verify deliveries and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable commercial driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and dollies
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
